Charities

At each show, the American Quilter’s Society partners with charitable groups to help make the public aware of their contribution.

Sit N Sew, Booth #1223

This year, AQS, Red Rose Quilters Guild, and quilters attending the show will be making quilts to be donated to local charities throughout the Lancaster County area (Bethany Slavic Church; Domestic Violence Services; Faith, Food, Fellowship; Gentiva Hospice; Good Samaritan Services; Lancaster Field of Hope; New Person Ministries; Off the Streets; and Transitional Living Center). Sewing machines, irons, and all materials are provided. We can make a difference by sewing for charity at the show!

K9 Quilt of Honor, #1516

Law enforcement and military war dogs are honored though the K9 Quilts of Honor® program. Quilts are presented to the K9 handlers in honor of their dog’s services in our communities and country after a lifetime of service when the K9 retires or dies in the line of duty. Stop by the K9 Quilts of Honor booth for more information about this program.

Quilts of Valor, Booth #1528

Stop at the Quilts of Valor booth to learn more about the Quilts of Valor Foundation, whose mission is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.
