Scooter Rental
Scooters/Wheelchairs
Scooters and wheelchairs will be available to rent from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday during AQS QuiltWeek – Daytona Beach 2025.
Rental Rates:
- Scooter: $80 per day, $150 for 2 days
- Scooter Half-Day (Morning or Afternoon): $45 – Available from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Or 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. (Saturday 12:00 – 3 p.m.) - Wheelchairs: $40 per day / Take AQS wheelchairs to the show for rental.
Please call Julie Heath at (270) 898-7903 x182 before 2/13/2025 to make a reservation, or rent your scooter at the AQS Information Center during QuiltWeek (while supplies last).
If you have a scooter reserved, stop at the AQS Information Center inside the Exhibit Hall to make payment, sign the paperwork, and pick up the key.
Scooters should be returned one hour prior to the show closing each day (4:00 p.m. on Wed., Thurs., and Fri., and 3:00 p.m. on Sat). You will need to return the key to the AQS Information Center.
Dining at the Show
No food or drink may be brought into the Ocean Center during AQS QuiltWeek, February 19–22, 2025.
Drinks and Grab & Go items will be available in the hallway outside the Exhibit Hall from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on show days.
Food stations will be available for lunch in the West Concourse at the Ocean Center:
Soup and Salad bar
- Daily soups
- Soda, water, and coffee
Baked Potato Bar
- Jumbo baked potatoes with all of the toppings
- Soda, water, and coffee
Quilt Appraisals
AQS Certified Quilt Appraisers will appraise new or antique/vintage quilts for insurance replacement, or for sale or donation purposes.
No appointment is necessary, but you can contact Bonnie Browning at 270-898-7903, ext. 132 or michelle.thompson@americanquilter.com to schedule a day and time.
Walk-in appraisals for AQS QuiltWeek – Daytona Beach, FL 2025 will be held Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Appraisal Fee: $75 per quilt, payable at the AQS Information Center prior to the appraisal. You’ll receive your written appraisal no later than 30 days after the close of the show.

At each show, the American Quilter’s Society partners with charitable groups to help make the public aware of their contribution.
K9 Quilt of Honor
Law enforcement and military war dogs are honored though the K9 Quilts of Honor® program. Quilts are presented to the K9 handlers in honor of their dog’s services in our communities and country after a lifetime of service when the K9 retires or dies in the line of duty. Stop by the K9 Quilts of Honor booth for more information about this program.
Quilts of Valor
Stop at the Quilts of Valor booth to learn more about the Quilts of Valor Foundation, whose mission is to cover Service Members and Veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.
