Description

Choose one or all three of these original patterns from Rami Kim and whip up tote bags that reflect your creativity.

Make a Two Fat Quarter tote, a Lotus Blossom tote, or a Doo Roo Mah Gey tote and learn how to embellish with delicate but easy-to-do fabric folding. You’ll be surprised at how quickly these lovely bags come together.

Hesitant about getting that zipper sewn in the correct way? Rami’s method is fast, stress free, and doesn’t even require a zipper foot!

Along the way, learn how to make a lining that stays put and a box pleat pocket that will keep those small essentials from getting lost in the bottom of the bag. Speaking of the bottom of the bag, Rami will show how to create a flat bottom so your bag will hold its form.

Add the special touch of leather handles and your bag is complete. After making one of these bags, you’ll be eager to make the next—whether for yourself or for a friend!

For your convenience, this class can be purchased for online viewing or purchased on DVD.

Rami is AMAZING!! Her instructions and demonstrations in learning to make her bags are exquisite. Unfortunately she only has this one class. Does she teach fashion designs?

I like this class. I got a discount on it so I am pleased. I wasn’t sure of what to expect. Rami’s instruction is good and easy to follow. With that said, however, installing a purse handle is at the end of bag 3. I would also have appreciated the information as to where to purchase such a handle as is used in the 3 bags. The instructor has them for sale and will address that with you if you question it. For my first set of bags, I will probably just go ahead and place a cloth or other than leather handle on the bags. Her bags are delightfully designed and it is my guess that she would never use a cloth handle which will take away from the professionalism of the bag. I would definitely recommend this instruction to a friend.

Great class–enjoyed making the folded fabric blocks and want to learn more. Explanations were clear and easy to follow. So far, I’ve made the chopkey bag as a gift–easy and fun to make, turned out well. First time I put in a zipper with the walking foot,so easy, will definitely do it again. I hope Rami will teach another class, would love to take it.
