Here is the next Big Block challenge: Rabbit Hole
The vintage block (Snail Trail) from days gone by, gets a whole new look when you super size it. We played with denim, but it works great with fun textures or large prints. The twisting chasm reminds me of Alice falling down the rabbit hole.
First, if you aren’t familiar with our Big Block Challenge, take a look:
Each pattern will take two weeks.
- The first week, the block pattern instructions are given. You whip up a few awesome blocks and share them.
- Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to create a project using the block, it can be a quilt with lots of the blocks, a pillow with just one, or whatever you can imagine.
- The second week, we will share a free pattern that we came up with for the block and you share your ideas too. Send us a picture and we will post your creation here.
As each person shares their pictures, we will post them on the respective block’s post.
So grab your rotary cutter and let’s get started!
